Your bodies now rest in foreign lands; tortured Souls now free,
We mourn lost generations; you were lost to those left behind,
When the dawn breaks; we bow our heads in appreciation,
For the sacrifice you gave; to preserve life as we know,
The Sun shines in each passing day; the wild winds still blow,
Through the rain and Sun, we prevail; thanks to you we walk free,
Monuments stand tall; your names inscribed there upon,
On this sombre dawn we reflect in remembrance,
Lest we forget.
